George Leaves the Lights ON: the importance of being earnest about conservation (affiliate link) is a book written by Barbara J. Genovese. It tells the story of George, and how his mother and family come up with ideas for conservation. Illustrated by Isabella Schreiber and me.
I worked directly with the author in the creation of the illustrations, tailored to her vision and needs.
In 2023, it garnered a bronze Moonbeam Children’s Book Award in the Environmental Issues category. You can check the full winners list in their official website.
